Lightly Worker 2.9.3 Release Notes

Changes

  • We started dumping new statistics from the pdf report generation into a new report_v2.json file. Note that the new format is not final.

  • Add experimental support for caching data fetched to the Lightly Worker from the datasource (S3, GCP, Azure). We only cache lightweight data such as metadata or predictions json files.

  • The UI is slightly more responsive as we make sure that we preload the thumbnails before loading the full images. This can have a bigger impact on UX when working with larger files.

  • When looking at crop datasets you can now see the active crop in context of the full image. This is helpful to understand the context around the object. You can toggle the "crop in context" using a toggle button on the top left of the image detail views.

Bug Fixes

  • A bug caused the report generation to fail and could have crashed the Lightly Worker. This bug has been resolved.
